Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.

• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with local and state codes.

• Work with a variety of materials including copper, PVC, and PEX piping.

• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.

• Coordinate with other construction professionals, including electricians and HVAC technicians.

• Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and completed jobs.

• Ensure work is done in compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license in the State of Utah.

• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience.

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school training preferred.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Physical ability to perform job tasks (lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, etc.).

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
