Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented electrician to join our team, responsible for the design, installation, inspection, repair, and replacement of electrical components, systems, and wiring. This role includes implementing preventive maintenance programs for high-voltage and emergency systems, ensuring the reliability and safety of all electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical System Maintenance: Design, install, inspect, repair, and replace electrical systems, components, and associated wiring.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement maintenance programs for high-voltage and emergency power systems, including transformers, capacitors, generators, switchgear, and building infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform inspections, diagnostics, and minor repairs on electrical power systems (high and low voltage).
  • Testing & Calibration: Conduct routine testing, infrared scanning, preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, and annual full-load emergency generator testing.
  • Communications & IT Support: Provide electrical support for telephone system cabling, data/computer cabling, and networking in collaboration with the IT Department.
  • Property-Wide Electrical Support: Serve as the primary electrical resource for all Waikiki-based properties under Outrigger Enterprises as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry safety standards, electrical codes, and best practices.
Minimum Requirement

State of Hawaii Journeyman Electricians License required. Specialized in electrical design, construction and installation of electrical equipment with a proficiency in use of all electrical metering/merging/calibrations equipment such as but not limited to ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes. Knowledge of appropriate types of electrical wires and connections, motors, switchgear, circuitry, load centers, panel boards, electrical compatibility.
