Pay Range: $31.85 per hour

Shift & Work Schedule:1st Shift, 6AM-2:30PM M-F

Overtime: Available

What You'll Do

  • Ensure safety standards are met and when needed provide direct safety support for their team, contractors, and visitors
  • Offer support for ongoing communication and assistance as needed within the department and plant organization
  • Perform plant machine and equipment repair, mechanical adjustment, servicing, overhaul and installation of plant equipment and machinery. This includes but is not limited to conveyors, crushers, heat exchangers, belts and drives, pneumatics & hydraulic units
  • Fabrication, installation, and maintenance of metal equipment including guards, covers, ducts, chutes, and attachments for heavy mobile equipment such as loader and excavator buckets
What You'll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Be capable of collaborating effectively within a team setting and working independently without direct supervision
  • Be able to maintain an open line of communication with their Supervisor, other members of Plant Management, and Peers
  • Have successfully finished the specified courses or their equivalents and provide evidence of completion:
    • Mechanical Blueprint Reading
    • Stick, Flat Plate Welding
    • Tig (Hiliarc), Flat Plate Welding
    • Mig (Wire), Flat Plate Welding
    • Gas Weld & Brazing - Flat & Horizontal Welding
