360X Staffing is hiring for Certified Painters with C12 or C14 painting certifications with experience painting vessels. MUST have experience working in a shipyard setting.

 

Title: C14 Certified Painting and Coatings Specialist - DOD Navy Frigate Class Ships
 
Location: Marinette, WI
 
Job Description:
- As a C14 Certified Painting and Coatings Specialist specializing in the construction of DOD Navy Frigate Class Ships, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings to various surfaces of the ships to ensure their longevity and durability.
- Your primary task will involve preparing surfaces, mixing paints and coatings, and applying them with precision to meet the stringent requirements of naval ship construction.
- Successful candidates must hold a valid C14 certification and demonstrate expertise in painting and coatings specific to naval shipbuilding, with a focus on quality, durability, and adherence to military standards.
- Working in collaboration with a team of painters, blasters, and shipbuilding professionals, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and appearance of the Navy Frigate Class Ships under construction.
- This role demands meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in coating applications, and a commitment to safety practices to achieve superior results in shipbuilding projects.
 
Requirements:
- Hold a valid C14 Painting and Coatings Specialist certification and possess experience in applying protective coatings in a naval ship construction environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in surface preparation, paint mixing, application techniques, and quality inspection processes related to ship coatings.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in painting and coatings operations.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a shipbuilding setting.
- Dedication to meeting project specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines essential for successful completion of ship construction projects.
