  • Location: San Antonio, TX
  • Pay: 22.00-28.00 an hour
Job Description: As a Hydronic Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining hydronic heating and cooling systems. This position requires a high level of skill and expertise in working with various types of pipes, fittings, valves, and other components to ensure the efficient operation of hydronic systems. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities: Installation: Install hydronic piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes. This includes measuring, cutting, threading, and joining pipes using various techniques such as soldering, welding, or brazing.

Pipe Fitting: Select and install appropriate pipe fittings, valves, and controls to regulate the flow of water or other fluids within the hydronic system. Ensure proper alignment and tight connections to prevent leaks or inefficiencies.

System Testing: Conduct pressure tests and inspections to verify the integrity of hydronic piping installations. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies and make necessary adjustments or repairs to achieve optimal performance.

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of [3 years] of experience in hydronic pipe fitting or a related field.

Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and using hand and power tools effectively. Strong understanding of hydronic heating and cooling principles, including fluid dynamics and thermal transfer.

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders effectively.
