Heavy Equipment Operator – Industrial Demolition (Refinery Experience Required)

Performance Personnel Services (PPS) is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for large-scale industrial demolition projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating excavators and material handlers in high-risk industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and material handlers with precision in demolition and scrap processing.
• Utilize specialty demolition tools such as cutting shears, grapples, and magnets.
• Work efficiently in high-hazard industrial settings with strict safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe and effective demolition processes.
• Follow all OSHA and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of experience in industrial demolition, particularly in refining environments.
• Extensive experience with cutting shears, grapples, and magnets (listed in order of priority).
• OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to work in industrial demolition projects that require high-level expertise and safety compliance.
• Strong understanding of site logistics, scrap handling, and heavy equipment operation in demolition environments.
