Licensed Journeyman Electrician

As a South Dakota licensed journeyman electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a hospital project in Hot Springs, SD.

In this South Dakota licensed journeyman electrician role, you’ll earn up to $55/hour + $125/day (days worked) per diem, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

• Install overhead wiring and conduit systems in a hospital setting.
• Bend and install conduit as required for project specifications.
• Bring necessary tools and equipment to complete assigned duties.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in a healthcare environment.

Requirements:

• Active South Dakota Journeyman Electrician license
  Knowledge of hospital electrical systems a plus (Jeron electric Systems)
  Cat 6 Cable experience (hallways and rooms)
  Install and terminate fiber cable.
  Experience with 3/4 EMT and 1/2-5/8" flex (walls)
  Tools of the trade (see tool list)
  Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc)
  Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  Ability to work at heights (6' ladders)

The hourly rate for this position is $50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
