Structural Welder(s) and Fitter(s)- Flux Core, Marine Construction

C.A. Jones is seeking Structural Welders and Shipfitters for marine construction projects located throughout the Great Lakes region.   Welders should have a minimum of 3 years of industrial welding experience.  Work will commence in early to mid-February.   These positions offer full time scheduling (40 to 50 hours per week).

Welders must be proficient in:

• Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and drawings
• Flux-core (FCAW) welding, all positions (2g, 3g, 4g). You will be required to complete weld testing on-site prior to starting.  Weld tests will visually inspected and bend tested.

Fitters must be proficient in use of hand torch (cutting, beveling), steel plate repairs, inserts, and other typical fitting duties.   Fitters must be able to pass tack welding test (SMAW).
