Responsibilities include testing electrical systems, documenting actions, repairing electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices, and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.

Work with an established team of electricians, to complete a variety of customer-driven projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to safety codes.
• Analyze and repair motor and control systems commonly utilized in industrial and commercial settings.
• Assemble raceway and cable tray systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities on electrical wiring and systems.
• Comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Exercise problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to solve problems.
• Install, program, and mount VFDs, soft starts, transformers and motors, and panelboards.
• Stretch and run wire, conduit, and other materials of varying sizes.
• Connect motors and transformers.
• Utilize threaders, big pipe benders, and tuggers as necessary.

Qualifications

• The qualifications required may differ based on the technician's level of experience.
• The technician's proficiency is expected to grow with their accumulated experience.
• Comfortable with reading and comprehending electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency in using manual and electric tools commonly used in electrical tasks.
• Capable of flexing, scaling, crouching, stretching, and kneeling.
• Proficiency in electrical theory, along with the related principles, materials, and equipment.
