360X Staffing is hiring for Sand Blaster that are certified C7 blasters.

 

Job Description:
- As a C7 Certified Blaster specializing in the construction of DOD Navy Frigate Class Ships, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying coatings using abrasive blasting techniques to ensure the integrity and durability of the ship's structure.
- Your primary duty will involve operating blasting equipment and tools in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to remove rust, scale, old paint, and other contaminants from surfaces prior to coating application.
- Successful candidates must hold a valid C7 Blaster certification and demonstrate expertise in abrasive blasting methods specific to naval ship construction and maintenance.
- Working closely with a team of blasters, painters, and shipbuilding professionals, you will contribute to the quality and longevity of the Navy Frigate Class Ships being built.
- This role requires a meticulous approach to surface preparation, a commitment to safety practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic shipbuilding environment.
 
Requirements:
- Hold a valid C7 Blaster certification and have experience in abrasive blasting techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in surface preparation and coating applications for naval ship construction projects, particularly DOD Navy Frigate Class Ships.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in abrasive blasting operations.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a shipbuilding setting.
- Adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety guidelines essential for successful completion of ship construction projects.
