Description

360X Staffing is hiring for 1st class Stick Welders that can pass a weld test. MUST have experience working in a shipyard or industrial environment. 

 

5/32" 6011 Stick on carbon steel plate.  Welders will take a Vertical Up Lap weld & Overhead Lap weld (fillet) test. You will need to pass a visual inspection of the welds. You will be evaluated on the following - 1. Working knowledge of the welding machine (setting up the machine)
2. Familiarity with the welding rods (1/8" - 1/4" 6011 & 7018 rod) 
3. Positions (3G & 4G) 4. Safety practices during welding
