Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking Journeyman and Lead Electricians for a long-term project at a facility in Carroll, IA. The project will focus on service upgrades, underground work, conduit installations, and electrical system enhancements. This role is ideal for local candidates, but traveling electricians will be considered.

Position Details

• Journeyman & Lead Electricians Needed (Crew leader must hold an Iowa Electrical License)
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Service upgrades and electrical system improvements
• Underground conduit work (Primary & Secondary)
• Installation of new gears and MCCs
• Lead Electrician will oversee a small crew (2-4 electricians) and manage jobsite coordination
• Project Duration: Approximately 1 year (With potential for additional work in Nebraska & Illinois)

Schedule & Pay

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)
• Optional Overtime: 10-hour shifts available, OT not required but offered
• Pay Rate: Is open depending on your experience.

Requirements

• Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Iowa or Nebraska preferred)
• Experience with:
• Service upgrades and MCC installation
• Primary and secondary conduit work
• Reading blueprints and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Ability to lead a team (for Lead Electrician role)
• Willingness to work in Carroll, IA, with occasional travel to Nebraska
• Local candidates preferred, but travelers welcome
