Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems and associated equipment.

Work with PLC systems, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical control components.

Perform electrical wiring and control panel installations.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Utilize test equipment to verify system functionality and identify faults.

Collaborate with engineers, maintenance personnel, and other trades to support production and equipment reliability.

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Complete daily logs, work orders, and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.

Assist in the installation of new control systems and upgrades to existing systems.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Must live in the DFW area!

Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent, with significant experience in industrial controls and conveyor systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.

Proficient in reading electrical schematics, control diagrams, and other technical documentation.

Experience with troubleshooting electrical and control systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices (OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, engineers, and management.

Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
