Description

As a Commercial Journeyman Electrician, you will work in a new construction or tenant improvement commercial environment at various Southern California locations and shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Install EMT, PVC, MC Cable, Flex or Romex Conduit
  • Install wires, cables and wire raceways
  • Feed, pull and terminate wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, panels, transformers, transducers, switch gears, receptacles, switches and lighting controls
  • Splice and terminate wires at junction points
  • Diagnose and correct installation malfunctions
  • Interpret blueprints, plans or schematics
  • Build, install and troubleshoot control panels
  • Mentor and train apprentice electricians
  • Refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring is desired
  • Ansul system experience desired
  • May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the supervisors
Requirements

  • Four or more years of progressive commercial electrician experience
  • California Journeyman License desired
  • Must be able to commute to various jobsites within Southern California
  • Able to continuously perform physical work during the shift by lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, walking or descending from stairs
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, off lifts or in inclement weather
  • Availability to work third shifts as needed
