Welding Supervisor(s) - Great Lakes Region

C.A. Jones is seeking Welding Supervisors for marine construction projects located throughout the Great Lakes region.   Weld supervisors should have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of marine industrial (shipyard) welding experience and (3) years of supervisory, lead man, or foreman experience.   Work will commence in early to mid-February.   These positions offer full time scheduling (40 to 50 hours per week).

 As a supervisor you will be required to coordinate and oversee daily welding assignments for a crew of up to (10) welders.  This supervisory position will also require you to be on your tools.  NDT certifications are a plus.

 In addition to crew supervision, weld supervisors will need to be proficient in:

• Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and drawings
• Flux-core (FCAW) welding, all positions (2g, 3g, 4g). You will be required to complete weld testing on-site prior to starting.  Weld tests will visually inspected and bend tested.
