QUResponsibilities
· Perform bolting operations including torqueing, tensioning, and nut splitting. LI
· As a Bolting Technician, you will be responsible for executing bolting tasks efficiently and safely to specs
· Be familiar with various bolting tools and equipment to achieve proper bolted connections.
· Ensure protocols and procedures are met for a safe work environment.
· Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate bolting activities.

· Complete work in a timely and precise manner to meet schedules and deadlines
Requirements
· ECITB TMJI or MJI 10 and ECITB TMJI or MJI 19 certification
· Previous experience as a Bolting Technician
· Ability to work with heavy objects
· Strong understanding of bolting techniques, tools, and equipment.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to bolting operations.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
· 2 years’ experience in similar role (Pipefitting, Mechanical Fitter)

Job description:
Responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining bolted joints, ensuring they meet the required specifications. This includes using the appropriate tools and equipment to tighten or loosen bolts, checking bolted joints for signs of wear or damage, and replacing faulty bolts
Tasks and Responsibilities as Bolting Technician:
Minimum Task Achievement
· Ensuring Bolt Tightening duties are carried out to specification
· Selecting correct equipment to perform the task
· Selecting correct torque and tension values from company provided information
· Work unsupervised while using tensioning and torque wrench equipment
· Effectively communicate with the supervision and customers
· Maintaining equipment and ensuring all work sites are left in clean and safe condition upon completion of job
· Be actively involved in the prejob discussion and confirm that the work scope is understood.
· Ensure all equipment has been fully checked for safe operation before use.
