Pipe Welder

360X Staffing is hiring for Pipe Welders for a long term position working 50+ hours a week. Must be willing to pass a weld test as well as have experience working in a shipyard facility.

• Perform pipe welding using 1/16" fluxcore FCAW wire on carbon steel schedule 40 pipe.
• Weld in the 6G position (45°) with chill ring inserts for full penetration welds and distortion control.
• Read blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to follow precise procedures.
• Prepare materials, set up equipment, and conduct pre- and post-weld inspections for quality assurance.
• Ensure proper bead formation, penetration, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain safety protocols, PPE usage, and compliance with welding procedures.

• Experienced in fluxcore FCAW pipe welding, including the 6G position.
• Proficient with chill ring inserts for heat management.
• Familiar with pipe welding codes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Preferred: Certification in pipe welding or experience in barge building/commercial workboats.
• Physically capable of working in confined spaces, heights, and diverse environments.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
