Description We are currently hiring for Industrial Painters/Blasters in Richmond, VA. The ideal Industrial Painter/Blaster candidate has at least 2 years experience painting in an industrial setting and is comfortable with local travel. There is a per diem for local travel to be discussed. Pay is $24 - $28 per hour based on skill set and experience.

Industrial Painter/Blaster Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and blasting.
  • Remove contaminants and mask areas not requiring treatment.
  • Operate sandblasting equipment and select appropriate media.
  • Monitor equipment for effective performance.
  • Apply coatings using various methods (spray, brush, roller).
  • Ensure consistent finish and thickness.
  • Inspect work for quality compliance and perform touch-ups as necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report hazards to management.
  • Maintain equipment and working area; manage supply inventory.
Industrial Painter/Blaster Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an industrial painter and blaster
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety procedures
  • Familiarity with abrasive blasting equipment and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Able to travel locally as needed
