Description

Pay range: 17.34-27.31/hour based on experience

Per diem: $120/day for each day 8 hours are worked

Location: Newport News, Virginia

Job Length: 2-year term with Newport News Shipyard

Job requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the installation and repair of live mechanical piping systems
  • Familiarity with Plumbing, Mechanical and Gasfitter codes
  • Journeyman’s Plumbing or Gasfitter license is highly desirable.

Additional requirements:

  • Must be willing to undergo a hair follicle test
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check
  • Must be a citizen of the USA
