*INCREASED* Pay Ranges: Docked pay rate: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on license. Sailing pay rate: Up to $300.00 per shift.
Job Description
As the DDE, your job is to manage the operations of an engine room on a marine vessel. The DDE must hold a special license from the United States Coast Guard for marine workers that confirms you can perform necessary equipment maintenance and even act as the sole engineer on smaller vessels.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience.
Able to perform equipment maintenance on Caterpillar Diesel Equipment.
Served as the chief engineer on vessels up to 500 gross tons.
Able to work in coastal and inland waters.
Must have a DDE License for:
*1000/4000 horsepower: Valid for near coastal and inland waters
*Unlimited horsepower: Valid for any waters
