Description

We are seeking an experienced skilled LICENSED JOURNEYMAN electrician to work in an underground mine environment in Randolph, Missouri. This is a third-shift position, ideal for those with heavy industrial or plant experience. If you’re comfortable working in a unique, challenging environment and ready to take on critical responsibilities in the mine, this role may be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform megging of wires and motors.
  • Troubleshoot control wiring and motor controls.
  • Assist in plant startups, power testing, and running power.
  • Troubleshoot medium voltage wires and gear.
  • Ensure electrical systems throughout the mine meet operational and safety standards.

Work Environment:

  • Underground rock quarry mine.
  • Dark, dusty, and muddy environment with artificial lighting.
  • Steep, one-mile drive into the mine; no cell service is available (landlines provided for emergencies).
  • Heavy industrial setting.

Requirements:

  • Electrician with heavy industrial or plant experience.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and working with medium voltage systems.
  • MSHA training and OSHA 10 certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Must not have claustrophobia and be comfortable working in confined spaces without natural light.

Schedule:

  • Third shift (overnight).
  • Local to Kansas City/Randolph, MO area.

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay, based on experience.
