QAQC Technician- Utility-Scale Solar

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QAQC Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of utility-scale solar projects, contributing to our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects from Texas to New York.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of utility-scale solar installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications of modules, racking, wiring, combiner boxes, inverters, wire management, cab system and other components.
• Testing and Documentation: Perform quality testing on components and electrical components, documenting results and deviations from standards.
• Quality Assurance Procedures: Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures, providing guidance to project teams on adherence to established standards.
• Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and document non-conformance issues, working with project managers and teams to develop corrective action plans.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and safety teams to integrate quality assurance practices seamlessly into project workflows.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in QAQC role in utility-scale solar projects
• Experience with DC harness assembly and cable management is required
• Certifications: OSHA 10/30 Construction is highly desired.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and documenting results.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to convey quality standards and collaborate with diverse project teams.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address quality issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
