Structural Welders - FCAW Flux Core

Hope Power & Industrial Inc. an industrial manpower resources provider to specialty contractors, industrial facilities, power generation. Currently accepting resumes for immediate start for Journeyman Structural for heavy wall stainless steel | carbon steel for hydroelectric units in middle TN area. Must be able to pass drug screen, background and have own dependable transportation.

Per Diem allowance available for qualified candidates. 

Must have your own craft tools and attend contractor Safety awareness;

Certified Structural Welder - Power

Job Responsibilities 

• Safely position and unite steel structural plate members to form completed structures or structural frameworks.
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural members. Base and alignment rings into place using cranes, using hand signals, and tag lines.
• Verify alignment and plumbing of structures and make corrections prior to weld. 

Qualifications/ Requirements 

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy wall structural plate welding.
• Must have experience with arc gauging 
• The ability to work at all heights is a must.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret symbols and abbreviations on plans and drawings.
• Prior rigging experience to include knowledge of hand signals, rigging gear, inspection, and proper use.
• FCAW certification is a plus.
