Competent Sandblaster/Industrial Painter

  • Must have strong knowledge and experience in Sandblasting
  • Safe use of blast equipment
  • Fault finding/Repair of blast equipment
  • Knowledge of compressor operation
  • Working safely in an industrial environment and around machinery
  • Works overtime, nights and/or weekends as requested.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment.
Advantageous to have the following
  • Knowledge in the use of certain tools such as wet mil gauge, dry mil gauge, airless spray gun, cup gun, pressure washing, hand sander and blasting nozzle.
  • 2 component application, mixing, thinning
  • Plural pump operation and spraying
  • Air driven airless experience
  • Log Home blasting experience
  • OSHA 10-30
  • Trailer towing experience
  • Mechanical skills, hand tool use
  • Epoxy flooring experience
Minimum requirements
  • Work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
  • Travel may be required to customer sites to perform modifications and maintenance of equipment as needed
  • Valid driver's license required when operating a company vehicle
  • Must be able to successfully pass all pre-employment testing (drug test, physical, audiogram, pulmonary function test, respiratory fit test) in addition to random drug and alcohol testing.
