Licensed Journeyman Industrial Electricians Needed- Durkee, OR

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Journeyman Electricians for a long term project (3-4 months) in Durkee, Oregon. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Pay: $40 to $50 per hour, DOE, plus $150/Day Per Diem (7 Days)

Hours: 55 to 65 per week, with potential for more

Licenses/Certifications Required: Active Card Carrying Licensed Journeymen in Oregon. The following states reciprocate with Oregon: Arkansas, Idaho, Utah, Maine, Montana, Washington, & Wyoming

Responsibilities:

• Industrial electrical work
• 120 volt controls (any controls experience is a big plus)
• Cable tray installs
• Rigid conduit 2”
• Power distribution- 480v

Qualifications:

• MSHA Certification, can facilitate training on this if needed.
• Surface Miner Certs are preferred, they can facilitate training on this if needed.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand tools.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Reliable Transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time
• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes
• Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $40 to $50 per hour. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
