Job Description: Data Collector - Electrical Systems Evaluation

Who We Are
Our client specializes in providing arc flash evaluations and electrical safety training to industrial and commercial clients nationwide. Since 2011, they have conducted thousands of evaluations for top companies across healthcare, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
They are seeking a Data Collector to join their team and help improve electrical safety standards. If you have experience with 480V 3-phase factory systems, this could be the opportunity for you.
Who We Need
The ideal candidate has prior industrial electrical experience and can travel to customer sites to collect detailed information about electrical distribution systems. You'll need to read and interpret one-line diagrams, identify system components, and ensure accurate data collection while following strict safety protocols.

What You'll Do
  • Travel to job sites nationwide to conduct arc flash evaluations.
  • Open live equipment safely to collect and document electrical system data.
  • Read, edit, and create accurate as-built one-line diagrams.
  • Use digital tools for data entry, retrieval, and communication (e.g., Google Drive, spreadsheets).
  • Professionally represent the company as the primary interface with customers.
  • Observe and identify potential additional service opportunities for the company.
  • Apply equipment labels and maintain consistent communication with the engineering team.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Industrial electrical experience (experience with arc flash evaluations or an electrical engineering degree is a plus).
  • Ability to travel extensively (valid driver's license required).
  • Reside within one hour of a major U.S. airport.
  • Tech-savviness with proficiency in tools like Google Drive, spreadsheets, and PDF applications.
  • Strong collaboration skills and an ability to contribute effectively within a small, focused team.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk, stand, and crawl for extended periods.
  • Must reside in the USA.
  • This position requires 100% travel.
  • Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
