This is not a phase 1 electrical installation job!
This position requries 4 plus years exp in testing and repairing electrical systems that fail during start-up, commissioning and turnover stage. Must know how to test for electrical breakdowns and failures using various types of electrical testing equipment and have a plan to repair such as generators, HVAC, boilers, control rooms, conveyors, lighting, fire/sprinkler systems, control panels and PLC's. This is working with live electrical panels doing tear out, repair and reinstall. Must be able to read and interpit blueprints.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: This is a specialized working level for the electrical and electronic commissioning and maintenance function. Incumbents perform the full range of electrician duties to satisfactorily complete the commissioning of equipment and facilities must have experience in VOC testing and troubleshooting generating power systems, HVAC, generators, control and panel systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Proven background, a combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Typically, 5 years of responsible experience in commissioning a variety of electrical, electronic and control systems
