Description

360X Staffing is hiring for Ship Fitters in Jacksonville, FL area. Must have experience working in a shipyard environment. 

 

1st class shipfitter- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of steel structures. Measure and mark steel materials for cutting, shaping, and assembly according to specifications. Cut, grind, weld, and fabricate steel components using various tools and equipment.
Assemble and fit steel components using bolts, screws, or welding techniques. Align and position steel structures or materials to ensure proper fit and adherence to design specifications. Inspect and test completed steel structures for quality and accuracy.
