Description Overview: Staxmatic is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local plumbing codes.
  • Study specifications, building plans, and shop drawings to determine the necessary tools, equipment, and the appropriate sequence for installation.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations.
  • Work with a team of plumbers and other tradesmen to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to extend their lifespan and improve performance.
  • Ensure that projects run smoothly by identifying potential delays or conflicts, suggesting solutions, and working proactively to resolve any issues.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber, with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting systems, codes, and installation practices
  • Valid Journeyman Plumber license (Texas or applicable state) required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
