Pay Rates: *$35/hr - $110 Per diem/ daily
Structural Welder Job Description:
- Use of welding process flux core: FCAW
- Use of welding process stick welding: SMAW
- Use of welding positions vertical (3G), horizontal (2G) and overhead (4G)
- Exposure to heights, confined spaces
Job Requirements:
- Must pass welding assessment: Fluxcore vertical test, open butt weld on ¼” plate with metal backing strap in positions 2G, 3G, 4G
- Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
- Read and interpret blueprints utilizing both meh·ic and standard measurements
- Flux core and Stick welding
Per Diem may be provided to eligible employees who travel out of town for work to reasonably reimburse them for some or all daily lodging, meals, and incidental expenses.
