The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, and depending on the role, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement may be required. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate company records using electronic mobile devices for documenting equipment maintenance, service, and repairs.
This role involves working outdoors in diverse weather conditions and ensuring cleanliness of work areas and equipment. Duties include operating, diagnosing, and repairing various types of construction equipment, performing routine preventive maintenance, and conducting inspections and tests to ensure equipment efficiency. Additionally, the position involves tasks such as dismantling and reassembling equipment systems, identifying wear or damage, replacing defective components, and conducting engine tune-ups.
The candidate should be capable of loading, transporting, and unloading materials and equipment, as well as assisting in the installation of materials. Adherence to safety protocols is essential. Previous experience in industrial construction, typically around four years, is preferred.
