About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for a 1 month industrial project at a food and beverage facility in Middletown, NY. If you prove yourself on this job, we have a follow-on project in New Jersey that we would be willing to transfer you to. This role involves a mix of Ethernet, control wiring, and power termination tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate Ethernet cables (Cat6 and Cat5e).
  • Perform control wiring terminations, including:
    • 14–18 AWG wiring.
    • Reading and interpreting control print schematics.
  • Conduct power terminations on disconnects and panels.
  • Install and run rigid conduit for control and power systems.

Requirements:

  • Current journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Ethernet cable installation and termination.
  • Strong knowledge of control wiring and power termination.
  • Experience working with rigid conduit in industrial settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical blueprints.
  • Previous experience in industrial projects, particularly in food and beverage facilities, is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

To be eligible for per diem, you must work a minimum of 6 hours per work day and your home address must be over 60 miles from the job site address. At the end of each week you must submit an expense report through Paycom so that your per diem is not taxed.
