We are seeking a candidate who possesses a valid driver’s license and is eligible to work in the United States, successfully passing all pre-employment tests, including drug and alcohol screening. The successful applicant will have a strong, safety-oriented mindset and must be willing to adhere to Bechtel’s Zero Incident policy, as well as be subject to random drug screens.
The role will include working in a fast-paced environment, requiring five years of industrial construction experience. You must be able to follow directions and guidance, understand work priorities and schedules, and complete planned work on schedule. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and iPads for taking photos, generating emails, and other web-based applications is essential.
You will need to have an in-depth functional knowledge of various types of construction and automotive equipment, providing detailed inspection reports based on findings from equipment inspections and inputting photos and details into a web-based equipment management system. Additionally, you will coordinate repairs identified from findings with various vendors.
The position requires 100% travel, and you must provide all travel receipts and timesheets daily. You will operate vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal motor vehicle regulations. The successful candidate must adhere to all Bechtel core procedures and standard working procedures and possess an innate willingness to learn and build on previous experience in the automotive and construction industry.
