Flexo Press Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Flexo Press Operators for projects located in the Wausau, WI.  This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $21/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Flexo Press Operator eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside the best Craft Professionals in the industry, this is your chance to further your career!

Job Scope:          

•  Set up and run a Narrow Web, Flexo, Mark Andy Press
• Run up to 6-color narrow-web and 18-20 Flexo Presses. This includes daily start-up, production runs, clean-ups and shutdowns
• Ensure job is running properly and check quality throughout run
• Use Company specific system APEX in order to perform job order review to ensure job requirements are known and understood
• Verify pH and viscosity of inks during setup and throughout the production run
• Troubleshoot machine-related problems such as tension pressure settings irregular ink distribution and web breaks
• Verify that processes / spec sheets are correct before production run
• Load and unload press components required to perform effective changeovers
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed
• Perform routine press maintenance

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of experience operating a Narrow Web
• Experience running Flexographic Press
• Experience operating a Mark Andy machine is a plus
