Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced 1st Class Pipe Fitters (Journeyman Pipe Fitters) to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. You will work in a dynamic shipyard environment, handling a variety of materials such as steel, galvanized steel, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless steel, ensuring proper fit-up, fabrication, and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings. This role requires working from drawings and blueprints, often in varying conditions, including at heights, confined spaces, and across multiple shifts. Safety is our top priority, and we adhere to industry-leading safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Fit and install pipes, valves, and fittings using tools and equipment per blueprints and drawings.
  • Work with various materials such as steel, copper, and stainless steel.
  • Ensure alignment and tolerances meet requirements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of trade experience.
  • Proficiency in basic math, reading, and comprehension.
  • Knowledge of pipe layout, fit-up, fabrication, and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret trade drawings and blueprints in both metric and standard measurements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in marine, shipbuilding, or construction.
  • Advanced blueprint reading skills and familiarity with alignment tolerances.
