Qualifications: Must have stainless MIG and TIG experience, and be able to pass a 6G GTAW 2” Schedule 40 304L Stainless Pipe Test, will consider those with only TIG if willing to learn MIG. - Stainless Steel PW

Qualifications: Must have MIG and FCAW Pipe welding experience. Must be able to pass a 6G 2” Schedule 160 Heavy wall Carbon Steel Pipe Test. Will consider Pipe fitters who don’t weld with extensive fitting experience and who can tack their own welds but not pass a full weld test. - Carbon Steel Pipe Fitter/Welder

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and adhere to industry standards. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for constructing and repairing piping systems, ensuring that all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Build and install piping systems according to codes and standards.
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
  • Execute pipe threading and ductwork installation as required.
  • Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Welder with proficiency in welding techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and rigging practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing welding operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Certification in welding or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
