POSITION TITLE: Pipe Fitter
POSITION LOCATION: Austin, TX
HOURLY PAY: $22.00 - $28.00
INDUSTRY TYPE: Commercial Construction

PIPEFITTER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Install, repair, and build pipe systems for heating, hot water, cooling, and more in commercial buildings.

PIPEFITTER JOB DUTIES:

Install various types of pipes utilizing blueprints.
Cut and assemble pipes using hand and or power tools.
Repair defective pipe.
Test pipes to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Connect piping systems with fittings, tack welding, or threaders.
Perform all other job duties as needed.

PIPE FITTER QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 4 years of recent verifiable experience with pipefitting.
Experience in commercial new construction and renovations.
Hand tools required for pipefitting.
Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work overtime if requested.
Must have basic PPE.
