Description Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening for an experienced Rigger Journeyman II, with a minimum of 8 years experience in the ship repair industry / military.This position will support our Bremerton & Everett, Washington loctions. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.

Rigger Journeyman Job Summary:

Accomplish the set up and repair of rigging in the shop and on site without Supervision. Accomplish the alignment and anchoring of machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring the rigging plan is safe prior to executing without Supervision. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Rigger Journeyman Job Requirements and Experience:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
