My name is Tyler Mayfield with Cimarron Underground Services LLC. I am looking for candidates that can comprehend blueprints, do basic math, and cut with a torch for one of our clients building, re-vamping, and constructing offshore rigs. In order to successfully acquire the position, you will need to pass the test.
There are two parts to the test:
Written- adding and subtracting fractions, finding angle degrees within triangles or rectangles, finding the difference between two points on a tape measure, and finding different lengths, part numbers, symbols, material list items, revisions, etc. on a set of blueprints.
Hands on- you'll use a set of blueprints to construct a simple fit-up consisting of 5-6 piece of metal (angle iron, i-beam, square tubing) using c-clamps to fit pieces in place.
For testing you MUST HAVE:
HARD HAT, CLEAR SAFETY GLASSES, STEEL TOE BOOTS, LONG SLEEVES, AND LEATHER GLOVES.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOU!
Location: Ingleside, TX (Kiewit)
Pay: $20-22/hr and $125 per diem
Hours: 60-70+
Schedule: 13/1,12/1, or 6/1. (Days Worked to Days Off)
