Looking for IW/Structural Welders in Haines City, Florida
Welding bar joist, perimeter angles, braces and moment welds mostly out of manlifts. All work is elevated so must be comfortable working at heights. Must be fit to move around steel structure with no issues.
Must have welding hood with hard hat attachment, stinger, ppe for weld test ,grinder for weld test. Some bolting up and fitting will be required when no welding is available. Will need basic ironworker tools, 3/4 spud wrench, adjustable wrench, bull pins 5-8 lb. hammer, tape measure. Once Onsight all ppe and grinders are provided.
Currently working 510s with some extra overtime. Project runs to June but may extend. Pay is $32 hr. $140 a day on days worked.
Must pass drug screen, then weld test. Onboarding process is about 2 weeks. Weld test results are 2-4 days after testing. If test is passed employee will recieve 10 hrs. pay and a days per diem for test.
