Talent Corps is seeking a skilled Millwright Turbine Technician with experience in wind, gas, and steam turbines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of turbine systems across multiple energy sectors. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to work in various field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of wind, gas, and steam turbines.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal turbine performance and longevity.
  • Align and assemble turbine components, including shafts, bearings, gearboxes, and rotors.
  • Use specialized tools such as laser alignment and vibration analysis equipment.
  • Follow technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to execute repairs and overhauls.
  • Work with high-voltage systems and adhere to safety protocols for electrical components.
  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to complete projects.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
  • Adhere to industry safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Millwright certification or equivalent mechanical training.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with wind, gas, and steam turbines.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using precision alignment tools and vibration analysis equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel and work in varying conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with major OEMs such as GE, Siemens, Vestas, or Mitsubishi.
  • Certifications in Rigging, High Voltage Safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
