Bechtel is delivering three LNG Projects in the US Gulf Coast- Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL), Port Arthur LNG and Rio Grande LNG.
CCL is a 1,000+ acre facility with three operational liquefaction units, or trains, with a total capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum.
In June 2022, Cheniere announced the CCL Stage 3 expansion, which includes Bechtel’s EPC execution of seven midscale trains, powered by Chart Technology with motor driven refrigeration compressors.

We are seeking a candidate who will be responsible for identifying safe practices and conditions, as well as those at risk, and providing appropriate, on-the-spot corrective actions when necessary. You will check the adequacy of existing job and task methods and procedures, ensuring they meet required standards. Additionally, you will instruct journeymen in specific craft tasks, including safety procedures and techniques, and be knowledgeable of other craft disciplines to coordinate work effectively and prevent jurisdictional conflicts. The ideal candidate will read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, implement Bechtel job procedures and work rules, and inspect finished work for quality and completeness. Understanding the work scope and integrating project priorities will be crucial, as will understanding work schedules and completing planned work on time. You will identify potential problems promptly and take quick remedial action when work does not meet drawings, specifications, code requirements, or quality standards. Familiarity with project cost control procedures and a commitment to staying within established cost goals and unit rate standards are essential. You will ensure accurate reports are submitted regarding time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status. Typically, this role requires 6 years of industrial construction experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
