SEEKING ONLY LOCAL INDUSTRIAL TRAVEL CERTIFIED APPRENTICE AND JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS
Candidate will be doing underground conduit rough work
You'll be working with overhead EMT up to 3”
Work will consist of wire pulling up to 600MCM
Setting and terminating switchgear, transformer and panelboards
Knowledge of megger use is required
Work will consist of traveling 12-15 weeks straight, 50-60 hours per week
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all projects.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform low voltage wiring installations as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Industrial Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices in electrical work.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various working conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Valid electrician's license or certification preferred but not mandatory depending on local regulations.
