360X Staffing is hiring for Certified Crane Operators for a 4-5 month project in Jacksonville, FL.  You MUST have experience working in a shipyard setting for this project.

 

Job Description:
- As a Crane Operator specializing in operating up to 160 Ton capacity hydraulic boom cranes in a shipyard setting for both DOD and commercial ships, you will be responsible for executing complex lifting and material handling tasks to move materials on and off ships with precision and efficiency.
- Your primary responsibilities will include accurately operating the crane equipment, conducting intricate maneuvers, and coordinating lifts to transport heavy loads, equipment, and supplies on and off ships in compliance with safety and operational protocols.
- Successful candidates must demonstrate advanced skills in hydraulic crane operations, load management, rigging techniques, and navigational awareness to navigate challenging shipyard environments and support ship construction and repair activities.
- Collaborating closely with shipyard teams, project managers, and vessel crews, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transfer of materials to meet project deadlines and operational requirements for both DOD and commercial ships.
- This role necessitates a keen focus on safety, adherence to regulatory standards, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced conditions in a shipyard setting.
 
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Crane Operator with proficiency in operating hydraulic boom cranes with up to 160 Ton capacity in a shipyard environment.
- Expertise in hydraulic crane operations, load calculations, rigging procedures, and safe maneuvering techniques for complex lifting operations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, industry best practices, and operational guidelines for crane operations on DOD and commercial ships.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate lifts with ground personnel, ship crews, and project stakeholders during material movements.
- Commitment to safety protocols, operational efficiency, and quality control in crane operations to support shipbuilding and repair activities in the shipyard.
