Hercules Concrete, a Ready Mix Concrete Company servicing the Metro Detroit Area, is hiring a Full Time Journeyman Electrician for our Metro Detroit locations.   • Flexible Start Time
  • Monday- Fridays 10-12 hour shifts
Job Description:
  • Safely maintain, repair, and sustain operations of a broad range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Preventive and Routine maintenance on concrete plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair electric and electronic circuits, equipment, controls, and instrumentation as needed.
  • Use blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, verbal instructions, and established practices to organize and complete assigned work
  • Install plant electrical equipment and systems as needed
  • Alters existing plant electrical equipment, instruments, and systems as required
  • Inspect and service concrete plant electrical systems and equipment
  • Responsible for clean-up of immediate work areas or in other areas in conjunction with assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing and/or industrial experience as an Electrician
  • Skilled knowledge of the National Electric Code
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to read and interpret warning labels, safety instructions, product use instructions, and electrical drawings including schematics, interconnection, conduit and cabinet drawings
  • Able to work in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
