Description Civil Heavy Machine Operator - United Trades of America

Position: 2 Finish Operators

We are seeking experienced Civil Heavy Machine Operators to join our team. Candidates should have a strong background in GPS equipment and a solid understanding of civil/site work grades. Must be proficient in pipe work and familiar with water, sewer, drainage (including large diameters), and box culverts. The ability to lay down box culverts, perform stabilization and base stabilization, and grade between hubs while maintaining specific depth is essential. Daily equipment checks (fluid levels, etc.) are required upon arrival and departure.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency with GPS equipment.
  • Knowledge of civil/site grading and pipe work.
  • Experience with water, sewer, and drainage systems.
  • Ability to work with large diameter pipes and box culverts.
  • Blue-top grading and maintaining grade depth.
  • Must NOT be forklift-only operators.
Other Details:
  • PPE provided (must return or reimburse if leaving employment).
  • Tattoos are acceptable except for visible gang-related or racial imagery.
  • Working all over Southeast Louisiana
  • Pay range: $25-$27/hour.
  • Steel toe boots required.
