Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team for long-term employment in the Waco, TX area. This role involves working on new construction, tenant improvements (TI), and remodels across commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should be proficient in conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installation & Maintenance – Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Conduit Bending & Wiring – Work with EMT and rigid conduit, performing bends and installations using hydraulic benders when required.
• Control & Automation Systems – Work with PLCs and industrial automation systems to support operations.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow NFPA 70E and NEC requirements for electrical safety.
• Blueprint Reading & Troubleshooting – Interpret schematics and diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Equipment Hookups – Install and connect electrical wiring to machinery and other industrial equipment.

Requirements:

• Current Journeyman’s License (Required)
• Ability to Run/Bend Conduit, Pull & Terminate Wires
• Proficiency in EMT and Rigid Conduit Installation
• Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, and Bucket Lift Experience
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (Preferred)

Schedule & Travel:

• Work schedule will depend on the specific job site (4x10s or 5x8s).
• Overtime available based on project needs.
• Minimal travel required – looking for local candidates for long-term employment.
• Per diem is not offered as this role is for local candidates.
