Bechtel is delivering three LNG Projects in the US Gulf Coast- Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL), Port Arthur LNG and Rio Grande LNG. CCL is a 1,000+ acre facility with three operational liquefaction units, or trains, with a total capacity of 15 million tonnes per annum.
In June 2022, Cheniere announced the CCL Stage 3 expansion, which includes Bechtel’s EPC execution of seven midscale trains, powered by Chart Technology with motor driven refrigeration compressors.

We are seeking a candidate with over 5 years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter. The successful applicant will possess basic rigging skills and be proficient in using small power tools like die grinders and right angle grinders. You should be able to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings and, preferably, piping and instrument diagrams.
The role includes testing and commissioning piping systems, requiring at least 3 years of experience. You will efficiently plan work, prepare weld joints to meet project standards, and be proficient in pipe layout and threading.
You will also read and comprehend support details and drawings, assist in lifting and positioning materials, and perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment. The job requires safely traversing uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and working from heights. Adherence to safety procedures and understanding personal fall arrest systems are mandatory. You should also be able to access scaffolding as needed.
