*INCREASED* Pay Rates: $29.61per hour, plus $70.00 a day per diem, non-local

Job Description

*Requires a minimum of Three (3) years experience as a painter & blaster.

*Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications and identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications. 

*Must pass both a 1st Class Spray Painting Test and a 1st Class Blast Test, before being hired.

Painters have the responsibility to perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements. Understanding of blasting and painting specifications including by not limited to blast profiles, mileage requirements, etc. 

Perform both blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Testing will consist of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontally, vertically, and side to side.

Able to sandblast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
