Structural Welder

Welder/Millwright 

• 3G certification requirement (MIG & Stick)
• 100% travel within Continental US
• Dependable personal transportation and valid Drivers License
• Onsite work in all weather and plant conditions: rain, snow, extreme heat, Up high, confined spaces, lead, etc.….
• 24/365 work schedule; you can be gone for up to 8 weeks at a time. Sometimes with only a day or two home in between. 12 hour shifts w/ no days off (7 days a week)
• No defined schedule, we book open dates on our calendar (this is not shut down work)
• This is a WeldOR position. You will Weld 30% of the time OR be doing Mechanical work 70 % of the time. You will be assigned to jobs and shifts based on skill and availability. The PM will then divide the crew to the needs of the job.
• Starting pay is $20.00-$22.00 once you pass the 3G welding test, drug screen, and background check.
• 12 hour shifts = 44 hours of overtime. Current average of our crew is $70-80k/year ($2320 when work a full week)
• We arrange all your travel while on a job; hotels, air fare, car rentals. You do get single occupancy hotel rooms meaning you don’t bunk with any other crew. Rooms w/ kitchens
• Jobs that are over an 8-10 hour drive typically we will try and find a flight; this will all depend on the location of the plant and nearest airports.
• We offer 100% gas reimbursement. While on our jobs you will be paid back for gas receipts turned in during that time frame.
• There is a $0.31 per mile reimbursement when traveling in your personal vehicle while going to, from, and on the job.
• You receive $50.00 per diem per day starting the day of travel while on a job.
• Once hired we require you take an IKD 40 hour OSHA/MSHA/First-Aid/Rigging class; this is on the clock time.
